  • We make carrot cake every week although a bit different from this one. Thanks a lot for sharing.
    I'll give you a traditional cake that it's elaborated in a region of my country. It's really simple to make.
    TARTA DE SANTIAGO:
    300 grs. Ground almonds
    6 Eggs
    300 grs. Icing sugar
    Half a lemon peel
    A little bit of cinnamon (optional)

    Mix well all ingredients in a mixer and pour on an oily mould. Low temperature oven for 25'

  • Great to know you like carrot cake, Eva! I love carrots that I mostly cook them in different menus. When I found out that they can be used for cakes, I went bananas! Kidding aside, I can say carrots are part of my cooking or baking repertoire nowadays. :)
