The message is a great movie. I've seen it a few times. Moustapha Akkad really did some amazing work during his life and I felt really sad when he was killed along with his daughter in Jordon a few years ago. I've never understood why some people were against making of movie "the message" because when I saw the movie there wasn't anything objectionable in it. In today's world such kind movies are the most effective way to let the world know the real teachings of Islam, the most peaceful religion of world.
And strangely enough, movie making wasn't only opposed by Muslims but also by Hollywood film industry!
