Crowded well-known places lose their charm with time because they lose their naturalness and "innocence" if only tourist's money counts. Then they are nothing else than crowded places.

I saw that kind of old towns also in Italy when I had a trip around the Tuscany.
Such old towns have their own charme.
They give us the feeling of resistance and stabilty in this restless time.
Yep, there are some ....I fed up from crowded places ...
Typically, A German town... I wish I could live there...
