  • I'm so sad that the challenge didn't work out. :P

But I'm happy that I got know the name of this flower. ;)

I guess I have to change the title of this photo to past tense now.. In order to not confuse people. ^_^

What I like about this flower, is that this flower have so many interesting names.. like Butter-and-eggs, calf-snout.. and so on, they are all so nice names

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linaria_vulgaris#Other_names

In Estonian language it's called "Käokannus" that translates as cuckoo's-spur I think, or cuckoo's goad. Not sure. Maybe it have more names also in Estonian too, but I don't know them. ^_^

  • Thank you Irina. Yes you're absolutely right. There is necessary to be careful with flowers. I absolutely didn't think about that, when taking photos. Then Later when I was looking for photos. I thought.. oops they might be poisonous.. well fortunately, the "Toadflax Ordinary" (Linaria vulgaris) seems not to be poisonous, instead it's a medical herb. :)

But there was also another flower, that I was photographed that day. That I think it might be poisonous.. It reminds Aconitum, that I know is really deadly poisonous.. but I think it isn't Aconitum.. but I don't remember also what this flowers true name, was although, I've told what it's called. And don't know whether it's poisonous also.

    Here's the photo.. ^_^

  • Hello Hardi! Yeah... it's nice flower, it's called as " Toadflax Ordinary". It's necessary to be very careful with the flower. Sometimes it'd be poisonous.
