This picture is absolutely stunning. I’ve stared at it so many times. The first time I saw it, I honestly couldn’t believe it was real. I’ve never seen a peacock roaming around freely before. How does it even find food?
It’s kinda sad we don’t get to see birds like this flying over our city skies.
But I don’t know why, I feel a little sadness in this picture, and in the peacock itself.
A while ago, BBC Persian shared a video of a huge owl standing at the entrance of a cave. Some villager filmed it from far away and kept calling it “the king of owls,” talking to it with so much love.
Every time I see things like this, I can’t help but worry they might get hunted. And it makes me think about all the amazing birds that used to live on this planet but went extinct.
I really hope this beautiful peacock stays healthy and happy forever...
