It's so inviting to walk along the river! That gives me always a feeling of being "more" alive. I loved doing this every day in my hometown. :-)))

I live now about 450 km far from my old hometown. As my mom and two of my siblings with their families live there, I visit them twice a year.
A stroll along the river is always "duty" for me. I love it.
Yeah, I totally understand that. It's also a 'must' for me when I visit my friends. :-D
