  • Shat lavender Hermine! It's not that Halabesa Syrian soup. Something sweet is among the ingredients. Thanks for your nice try!
  • Thanks Lavendre! There are some chicken on the dish to the upper left, the kuskus dish. Try to enlarge the photo,  you might guess right

  • I guess it may be chopped chicken , teacher .

  • Maybe  is it Syrian halabessa soup?

  • It's an Iranian stew. It is also called “Dizi”, which refers to the traditional stone crocks it is served in. Some describe it as a "hearty mutton soup thickened with chickpeas. It’s usually made with lamb, chickpeas, white beans, onion, potatoes, and tomatoes, turmeric, and dried lime. Other variations exist in the beans used, such as kidney beans and black-eyed peas. The ingredients are combined together and cooked until done, at which point the dish is strained. The solids are then mashed as “Gusht Kubideh” (literally "mashed meat") and served with the broth, but in a separate dish, along with flat-bread.

  • @ Sweetest Pleasure, it's not burnt lazania. Honestly, I know lazagnia. what is lazania? Other nations make similar to this dish. I have been to many countries, it is available in two in the middle east.

  • Khaili khob! Mohammad, doste khobam! Is dizi made of sweet? I cannot see the dish which is similar to it. Can you tell me which is it? That was indeed very delicious, too! Thank you!

  • Khudaki kasam, nahi nahi! Potatoes are among the ingredients in the upper dish to the left, Kuskus. But this dish is famous and people eat it during lunch time or during occasions. Shana, it's sweet and we eat it before anything else. Thanks Shana!

  • I guess it's something like Iranian Food, called "Dizi".

  • My dear friends, we eat desserts at the end of our meals, but this dish is eaten at the beginning of the meal. I remember we ate it and then we started to eat mulukhiyah and the other plates. Thanks for your attempts!
