This is Exhibit 1 in the EnglishClub.com museum :) This is the computer on which EnglishClub.com was born, in 1997. It was a Compaq (Presario 5220). In those days of course everything was dial-up, and it took forever to upload photos. Audio hardly existed on the Web, and video even less so, if at all (can't remember).

Love this lil photo tale! My first computer had the green screen. I'll never forget how much fun my mom and I used to have using the spell check to fix my poorly typed essays for high school. We used to howl at the alternate words they'd offer to clean up my typos.
When I saw this photo of the first English club PC, I remembered the sentence that says a big journey always starts with smal steps and it is interesting that some minor things do big jobs. WOW! It also shows how much you are strong and determined. I can say a lot about this picture.
