Allah the Almighty created human being and jinn for His worship only. (See Surah Az Zariat, verse no: 56) Along with them He made Devil and Nafs who are there to divert them from right path. They try their best to misguide them and lead them to the hell fire. On the other hand, Allah sent the holy prophets and the holy books to direct them to His path. Furthermore, He told them to avoid Devil and Nafs as they are their arch enemies. Here we want to mention Devil’s traps, so that we would be able to evade them.

When prayer time approaches us, Devil never says us not to offer prayer, he either remind us some necessary and urgent tasks or whispers: You have plenty of time to offer prayer. You are too exhausted, have some rest and then offer prayer and you will be fresh. The second happens mostly in Isha and Fajer prayers. That is why these two prayers are very heavy on hypocrites. Allah the Sublime says: And when they (hypocrites) stand for Salah, they stand up lazily, showing off to people, and do not remember Allah but a little. (Surah Al Nisa, verse no: 142) The holy Prophet; Muhammad Sala Allah o aliha wasallam said: The hardest prayers on hypocrites are Isha and Fajer. (Sahih Bukhari)

If a person has ignored him and reached the mosque to offer prayer then Devil struggles to ruin his prayer through polluting his intention with sense of showing off as stated in the aforesaid verse.

In the case of Zakat or voluntary charity, Devil firstly reminds a human of many tasks to fulfil. So many people are misguided by this trap and if someone succeeded to oppose him, he says him again: If you spend your money, you will fall into poverty. Allah the All-Truthful says: Satan frightens you of poverty. (Surah Al Baqara, verse no: 268)

Similarly when a person possesses wealth and that is enough to perform mandatory pilgrimage (Hajj). Devil gives him hope of life. He says: You are young enough to do other worldly works. As far as the pilgrimage is concerned you have a long life to perform it. Some other time he says him: If you perform Hajj now, then it will be really hard to enjoy life, because if you listen to the songs (for example) after that people will criticise you that you have performed Hajj and you are doing this too. So why do you visit Makkah now, delay it and you will do it in the end of your life.

In these ways he strives to prevent human beings in general and Muslims in particular from doing good deeds. In next episode we will discuss how he provokes us on doing bad deeds.  May Allah protect us all from Devil’s traps. Ameen

God's pleasure is hidden in father's pleasure. (Saying of Muhammad the holy Prophet PBUH)

I would like to share with you two stories. You will see father's love towards his children.

1. There was a great religious scholar in old days. He was too obedient to his parents. He looked after them and served them all the ways he could. His parents were very happy with him. Once a person came to him in the hottest day of summer asking him some religious questions. The scholar stood in the scorching sun replying and guiding him. The day was that hot one could hardly place his feet on the ground. As the scholar was busy with the person, his father was watching him and feeling bad that his son was standing in the hot sun. He asked his son to step into home and bring the person too.Since he was busy and thought he was almost done he replied to dad: Coming. After a while, the father repeated the same and he answered the same. Third time his father took his grand son and set him in the sun. His son saw it and screamed: Dad no, he will get burnt. it will hurt him. The father said: Did you realize what I was feeling for you?

2. There was a man. He was too old. His eyes got weak and he had been caught by different diseases. He had only one son who was young. He loved him the most. Once he was sitting and a crow came and set on their wall. The old man asked his son: What is that? His son replied: That is a crow. After a moment the old man questioned: What is that? His son's disposition changed a little and said: That is crow, dad. Third time when his father asked the same question. His faced got changed and he got furious. He said screamingly: How many times I told you that was a crow. The old man said: Ok. Then he said: O son! when you were a kid and learning how to speak. A crow sat on our wall. You asked me about that twenty times and I replied you joyfully twenty times and never changed my voice. I enjoyed your question.

This is father's affection to his children. Take care of your parents. They are your paradise in both worlds. 

This is a word, which we use lavishly. We utilize it daily ourselves or at least listen someone uttering it. But most of the people say it without having thorough concept behind the word. Let us know what should be behind saying sorry. If saying sorry is minus concept, it is then mere waste of word.

First conception behind it is that a person is regretful and feels bad upon what he did. His inner human is blaming him of what he committed. He is not able to face himself and help him saying sorry to a person affected. He experiences in him sense of guilt and offence. To satisfy that sense he says sorry.

Second is his determination not to repeat the mistake. He resolves and makes deal with himself not to do that again. If he does not have such determination, his words are useless.

Third is he goes to the person affected, faces him and apologizes for his mistake. This is the most difficult thing in the world. Here he kills his ego and submits himself to the other one.

Fourth one is he repairs and compensates of damage and injuries he made.

If one says that word with these concepts behind, he is truthful in his word. Otherwise his sorry is hollow. 

There were three people in ancient times. They commenced their journey in a jungle. Suddenly, rain approached them. They took refuge in a cave in one of the mountains. A rock fell on the opening of the cave and closed it all the way. So, they said to each other. Pray to Allah by presenting your purest deeds.

One of them said: O Allah! I had aged parents. I would graze my cattle, then come home and milk them. I would bring it to my parents and they drank it. After them I made my wife and children drink it. One day I got late and they slept. I abhorred to wake them for drinking milk and disliked to feed my children and wife before them while my children were weeping bitterly near my feet. The situation remained till morning. When they woke up I fed them milk. O Allah! If I did that for your sake, take away this rock a little that we could see the sky. The same happened.

Second one said: O Allah! You know I loved one of my cousins the most a man can love a woman. She said: You cannot have me until you give me one hundred dinars. I worked hard and collected them and gave her. When I was about to make love and was sitting before her, she said: Fear Allah and do not break the seal except with the legal way of marriage. I stood up and left her. O Allah! If I did it for you and you knew that, remove this rock a little more. So, it slid a little and opening was two third.

Third one said: O Allah! You know I hired a guy on an amount of wheat. He worked and I gave him, but he did not take. I seeded those wheat and bought cows and a shepherd by its money. Later on the same guy came and said: O slave of Allah! Give me my share. I said: Go to those cows and the shepherd and take them, they are yours. He said: Are you scoffing at me? I said: No way, indeed they are yours. O Allah! If I did that for your pleasure and you were well aware of that, open it up and Allah opened it up completely. (Bukhari and Muslim narrated it)  

Moral of the story:

Never scorn a single good deed; it helps you one day as you have just read.      

Every person desires to be pious, but, unfortunately, some people try for being pious. No one is born pious except prophets. This is an earned quality that is acquired through constant straggle and hard strives. In the path one faces several obstacles, as he changes his well established attributes. Here I want to share with you some symbols of purity and piousness. Those will help you to recognize pious people in your lives.

1. 1.      Well-Mannered and Excellent Character

One of the vital qualities of such people is being well-mannered. The way they act, the way they reply, the way they treat with their elders, the way they behave to their younger. The way they spend their lives, the way they think about others and so on, all are remarkable and up to the mark. They will never let you feel that they are superior to you and you are inferior. They never claim that they are even pious. They keep in their minds their mistakes and try hard to reform them. They do good deeds but do not feel proud of doing so. Allah mentioned this quality of the holy Prophet (PBUH) in this verse:

‘And you are surely on an excellent standard of character.’ (Surah Al- Qalam, Verse no: 4)

 On the other hand a sinful people are far away from good manners. The way they act, the way they reply, treat, behave is always unbearable towards others. Some time people do not tell them their errors because of their status or fear, but they back bite them as that is an easy way to express and show their detestation and hatred towards those sinful people. They spend their lives in isolation and remain alone when they lose their statuses and posts, since they are shameless and hurt others willingly or unwillingly. They always make others feel bad in their company. Let alone reforming flaws, they claim their superiorities all the time and do not even think of their flaws.  They do not talk to their younger human beings in proper way, rather they insult them.

1. 2.      Soft-Spoken

Second outstanding quality of them is ‘Speaking soft’. They speak to every person in such a way that feels him comfortable while talking to them. A person who talks to them always wants to prolong his conversation with them as it gives him pleasure and feels good. It develops in him feeling of love and affection to those pious people. He experiences sense of fascination to them. He searches for pretexts to meet them and talk to them. This is one another quality of the holy Prophet (PBUH) that was mentioned in the holy Quran:

 ‘So, (O Prophet) it is through mercy from Allah that you are gentle to them. Had you been rough and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you.’ (Surah Al-Imran, Verse no 159)

On the contrary, those who are rough and rude, nobody like them and everyone wants to refrain from his company.

1. 3.      Humbleness

Third amazing quality of righteous people is humbleness. They seem down to earth. They do not want to have credits of things; rather they focus on weaknesses to improve. Humbleness produces love to all mankind. They senseless of caste, tribe, race and nation treat everyone with honor, respect and love. So, Allah the All-Merciful uplifts their respect and dignity in return. The holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

‘Undoubtedly, one who humbles himself for Allah, He uplifts him.’ (Tirmizi)

And those who are conceited have no respect and dignity in the hearts of people.

1. 4.      Generosity

Those pious people are always generous. They spend money and do not keep their eyes over their own needs. They prefer others over their own interests. They do not fear pennilessness as they have complete and unshakable trust in Allah.  Allah says in Surah Hasher:

‘And give preference (to them) over themselves, even though they are in poverty. And those who are saved from the greed of their hearts are the successful.’ (Verse no: 9)

Conclusion

So friends try to find these pious people. They are always true friends. 

There was a person in the holy Prophet; Muhammad's era (PBUH). His name was Uqbah bin abi Muait. He was a chief of Qurash tribe. He used to invite nobility of Makkah to the dinner after every expedition. Obviously, he would invite the holy Prophet (PBUH) frequently. Once he invited all of the chieftains of Makkah to dinner. When the dinner had been served, he asked them to eat. The holy Prophet (PBUH) did not start. On his inquiring, he said, '' I will not eat until you say that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah and I am His messenger.'' He said the same and the holy Prophet (PBUH) ate.

There was a close friend of Uqbah, named Ubai bin Khalaf, an arch enemy of the holy Prophet (PBUH). When he knew that he got furious and cross to Uqbah. He tried his best to defend him by stating that he had said that to please Muhammad (PBUH), so that he would have eaten. If he had left without having his dinner, that would have been shameful for him. Ubai did not accept his excuse and suggested him to spit on his face if he was right in his claim. Uqbah did the same. Allah the Almighty revealed this verse:

‘’Woe to me! Would that I had not taken so-and-so for my friend!’’ (Surah Al Furqan, Verse no: 28)

That means he will be remorseful of what he did in the world, when he will be inflicted with painful punishment in the hell fire. He will definitely say the aforesaid words.  

Qualities of True Friend

1. There is an English proverb, which says:

‘’A man is known by the company he keeps.’’

The holy Prophet (PBUH) said the same thing in some other way. He says:

‘’Every person is influenced by the faith and way of life of his friends. Therefore, one must be very mindful when selecting his friends.’’ (Bukhari)

1. One another quality of true friend is that he never leaves you in the lurch.  An English proverb is worth mentioning here:

‘’A friend in need is a friend indeed.’’

Otherwise you will find thousands of people shaking hands with you if you are rich. As English people say: ‘’ A full purse never lacks friends.’’

1. The holy Prophet (PBUH) mentioned three important characteristics of true friend. They are read:

‘’ The one who reminds you of Allah when you see him, and adds to your knowledge when he speaks, and reminds you of the Hereafter when he acts, (he is the true friend of yours.)’’ (Qurtabi)

1. Once the holy Prophet (PBUH) said:

‘’ Whenever you make friend ask his name and his father’s name, because if he is absent you will protect him, and if he is sick you will visit him, and if he dies you will be in his funeral.’’

So, we should all keep these guidelines for making friends especially online.  

Sometimes a question crosses a common mind that why things are named. There are some reasons for naming things:

Identification
People name things in general and human beings in particular to identify and recognize them and make them known to others. We differentiate among things and human beings on the basis of their names and special qualities. Science of name is called 'Nameology'. Allah created this science before creation of human being. When Allah intended to create human being and wanted to show superiority of him, He taught Adam (PBUH) names of things and asked him to tell angels their names. Tho Holy Quran says:

'' And when your Lord said to the angels, 'I am going to create a deputy on the earth!' They said, 'Will You create there one who will spread disorder on the earth and cause blood sheds while we, along with Your praises, proclaim Your purity and sanctify Your name?' He said, 'Certainly, I know what you do not know.' And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then presented them before the angels, and said, 'Tell me their names, if you are right.' They said, 'To You belongs all purity! We have no knowledge except what You have given us. Surely, You alone are the all-knowing, all-wise.' He said, 'O Adam, tell them the names of all these.' When he told them their names, Allah said, 'Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the skies and of the earth, and that I know what you disclose and what you have been concealing.'' (Surah Al Baqarah, Verses 30-33)

So, Adam identified and recognized things by their names.

Reference

Things and human beings are named for easy reference. When we want to refer something in our conversation, we use their names only. That single reference relieves us from unwanted and unnecessary details. As when we want to refer to the tower of Paris we mention Eiffel Tower, which makes us free from stating other details. 

Not for Bigotry 

As we name things and human beings individually, in the same way we name groups of people, which are called tribes, races and nations. This division into tribes, races and nations is for identification too. That is, certainly, not for prejudice and bigotry. We all are human beings and equal in our rights. The superior among us is the one who is the most pious. This is what Allah the All-Merciful said in His holy Book:

''O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into races and tribes, so that you may identify one another. Surely the noblest of you, in Allah’s sight, is the one who is most pious of you, Surely Allah is All-knowing, All-Aware.'' (Surah Al Hujrat, Verse 13)

If you review our world's circumstances right now, you will come to the conclusion that all of the wars and conflicts are due to bigotry and loving tribe, race or nation. So, we should avoid such bigotry and prejudice. 

“No doubt I have been sent as a teacher.” (Abna Maja, Chapter excellence of knowledge)

Islam being a complete code of life provides its balanced rulings in all aspects of human existence. It starts its guidance from beliefs and spans it till the internal characteristics; kindness, honesty, wishing well for all and so on. Allah the Sublime has not revealed His orders in text form alone but to supplement He sent His beloved Prophet; Mohammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) along. He was living example of those commands which is called Islam. This was what He mentioned in His holy book; Qur’an:

‘Indeed, there is a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah.’ (Surah: Alahzab, verse no 21)

Islam consists of Allah’s wordings and life of the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم both together. Whoever seeks guidance to the will of Allah the Almighty he has to follow them up to the hilt.

As mentioned above, the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was a teacher. Friend of Allah, Ibrahim (Peace and Mercy be upon him) prayed to Allah the Merciful after building of Kaba and asked Him to send His prophet among the people of Makkah who would teach them the divine message. The holy Qur’an cites it as under:  

‘And, our Lord, rise in their midst a messenger from among them, who should recite to them Your verses, and teach them the book and the wisdom, and cleanse them of all impurities. Indeed You and You alone, are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.’ (Surah: Albaqara, verse no 129)

 Qualities of a Teacher

Keeping in view, the entire holy life of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم there are two major qualities of a teacher which he should be equipped with. One of them is ‘Tolerance’ and the other is ‘Practicing what he speaks’

His first quality is evidently stated in the holy Qur’an:

‘So, (O Prophet) it is through mercy from Allah that you are gentle to them. Had you been rough and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you. (Surah: Al Imran, verse no 159)

In some other place:

‘Surely, there has come to you, from your midst, a Messenger who feels it very hard on him if you face a hardship, who is very anxious for your welfare, and for the believers he is very kind, very merciful.’(Surah: Altoba, verse no 128)

Traditions (Ahadis) of the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم are full of his tolerance and its examples. Some of them are being quoted here:

1. 1.      Abu Hamid Al saidi narrated, said: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم borrowed lown dates (Lown is the name of an Arabian date) from a person. When he came to demand, the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: We do not have anything today. If you delay until we get something, so we pay you. The person said: What a violation! Umer (May Allah be pleased with him) got in wrath against him. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Leave him O Umer. Indeed person of right has right to say. (Majma uz zawaid. Musnad Ahmed, Al Tibrani.)
2. The holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم announced amnesty for makkans after conquest of Makkah although they had been very cruel to him and the Muslims, and persecuted them in various ways and even tried to assassinate the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Imam Baihaqi reported their conversation in his book Sunan ul kubra:

‘He (The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said: What do you say and think? They said: We say: You are our brother’s son and our uncle’s son; you are very tolerant and very kind. They repeated it thrice. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: I will repeat what Yousaf (Peace and mercy be upon him) said: No reproach upon you today! May Allah forgive you, and He is the Most-Merciful of all the merciful. (Surah Yousaf, verse no 92)’

1. Once a juvenile came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and sought permission to fornicate. The holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم did not get angry and replied in a wise and lenient manner. Imam Tabrani narrated in his Mojam as follow:

‘Abu Umama stated: One of Qurashites’ youngsters approached the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said: O Messenger of Allah! Allow me in fornication. All of the surrounded people became attentive and scolded him. They said: Stop stop. The holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Draw closer. He came closer. He said: Do you like it for your mother? The youngster said: No, by Allah! I offer myself to you. He said: The same way people do not like it for their mothers. He said: Do you love it for your daughter? The youngster said: No, O Messenger of Allah! I offer my life to you. He answered: Likewise people do not tolerate for their daughters. He added: Do you stand it for your sister? The youngster replied: No, O Messenger of Allah! I offer my life to you. Similarly people dislike it for their sisters. He said: Do you endure it for your paternal aunt? The youngster asserted: No, by Allah! I offer myself to you. He said: People detest it for their aunts as well. He added further: Do you bear it in your maternal aunt’s case? The youngster told: No, O Messenger of Allah! I offer my life to you. He said: People hate it for their maternal aunts too. Then the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم put his hand on him and prayed: O Allah! Forgive his sins, purify his heart and protect his organs. The narrator said: That youngster was not used to take interest in such things afterwards. (Majma uz zawaid, Musnad Ahmed, Al Tabrani)’

 All of aforesaid examples are evident of the holy Prophet’s tolerance. صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم This is a key quality of a teacher to impart knowledge.

Second quality which is obvious in the Prophet’s life is ‘Practicing what he speaks’. He guided believers to offer prayers five times a day and he himself used to offer eight times a day; Fajjar, Ishraq, Chasht, Zohar, Assar, Maghrib, Isha, and Tahjjud. He conveyed Allah’s message of fasting in Ramazan and he himself would fast three times each month in addition to Ramazan. He expressed Allah’s command of paying obligatory charity once a year whereas he himself paid whatever he owned except necessary livings. In the battle of ditch, when all companions of the Prophet (May Allah be pleased with them all) were starving and each one of them was carrying stone on his belly, the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was fastening two stones on his august belly due to hunger. He asked people to be patient and he presented its illustration in this tradition:

‘Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) says: I was walking with the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and he was wearing shawl of Najran, with thick borders. All of a sudden a villager appeared and pulled his shawl severely to the point I saw its effects on the Prophet’s neck and he said: Pass an order of endowment for me from those bounties which Allah has blessed you with. He turned towards him and smiled and gave an order for him.’ (Bukhari)

 These traditions of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم accentuate teachers to mould their lives in this frame and equip themselves with above mentioned two qualities.

Superiorities of Teacher

 The first and highest superiority of a teacher is that Allah the Beneficent commenced His foremost revelation with an act of teaching as:

‘Who imparted knowledge by means of the pen. He taught man what he did not know.’ (Surah: Alalaq, verses no 4, 5)

Beside this He said in Surah AlRahman:

 ‘The Rahman (The All-Merciful Allah) has taught the Qur’an. He has created man. He has taught him (how) to express himself.’(Verses: 1 to 4)

His ultimate Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم name himself as a teacher. He said:

‘No doubt I have been sent as a teacher.’(Abna Maja, Chapter excellence of knowledge)

In another tradition the holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم declared:

‘Verily, Allah, His angels, those who are in heavens and earth and even an ant in its hole and even fish ask Allah’s blessing for the one who teaches people righteousness.’(Tirmizi, Chapter: Knowledge)

In nutshell, Allah the Lord of the world favored a teacher with gigantic status. So, every teacher has to follow those qualities which are described for him in Islam. If he follows those guidelines he will certainly feel and observe the fruits of his efforts.  Allah forbid if he does not, he will find this status evidence against him in hereafter.

May Allah lead us to His will and heavens. Amen

Allah the Most Merciful gifted Muslims two Eids; Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Azha. Both of them are special events for Muslims. Eid ul Fitr is a celebration day after labor of Fasting the whole month of Ramadan. So, Allah forbade Muslims fasting on the day of Eid ul Fitr. Eid ul Azha is the day when Allah feeds poor and rich alike with meat. He asked well to do Muslims to sacrifice their invaluable cattle for His sake and preferably feed poor people. Fasting is prohibited in this sacred day as Allah is hosting them and if they have fast it is as if they are avoiding Allah's blessing.

Furthermore, it reminds us exam of Hazrat Ibrahim (PBUH) and Hazrat Ismail (PBUH), which they passed and gave us message that nothing is valuable if Allah's command is to sacrifice. Think an eighty six years old person is blessed with son. Allah orders him to take his son and wife and leave them in barren land of Makkah and do not turn back. He complies His directive and leaves them there. As there is no way of communication he lives without having any news about his son and wife. Later on he is allowed to visit them. When he visits them and spends some days with them and develop paternal love and emotions toward his son, while his son is walking and getting mature. Allah the Most Wise demands him to slaughter his son. He does not hesitate and obey his Lord and Allah accepts his obedience and sends sheep from heaven to be slaughtered instead of his son. So, Allah loves his sacrifice and asks all of the believers to come till the day of judgement to follow his footsteps and sacrifice cattle for the sake of Allah.

Imagine how difficult it was to slaughter one's beloved son who was born after 86 years of hope.

English is second language of my country (Pakistan). It is official language here whereas Urdu is national language. Most of the people in my country are bilingual at least, otherwise they are multilingual. In Schools we learn both Urdu and English hand in hand. 

When I started my school I was not taking interest in studies, rather I was game addicted child. I was always failed in any subject and announcement days of results were horrible and terrifying moments of my life, as dad wrath was my destiny. Somehow, I manged to reach grade seven and over there I really turned around and commenced study. I remained weak in English. After my eight grade I memorized the holy Quran and prepared on my own for ninth and tenth grades' exams. I passed them and left home for further Islamic Studies and traveled to Karachi. I completed my Islamic Studies degree and learnt Arabic language. That was a really awesome experience of my life. When I was doing specialization in Islamic Studies English was a compulsory subject in my degree, so I worked hard and learned it. Moreover I used almost all of the ways of learning English, which Lisa Orto mentioned in her post: ''5 Effective Ways of Learning a Foreign Language''. 

So, what mind can conceive, hand can achieve. For learning you need serious intention on your first step. 

Allah the Sublime says:

''We created from water every living thing.'' (The holy Quran, Surah Al Anbiya, Verse no: 30)

1. Do not waste me

You have seen my importance in divine words. So do not waste me while using me. As much as you preserve me I will be beneficial for other living things. No living thing can survive without me. So use me as much you need but do not waste me. 

2. Do not pollute me

Many people pollute me uselessly and deprive others from their basic right of using me when I am pure and save. You see many countries open their sewerage system in me (i.e. Sea). Some others put filth when I flow in the shape of river or stream. I am the best gift you present to others.

3. Share me with others

You might have noticed that I am presented in every party, meeting and gathering etc. I might not be expensive in your country due to my abundance or your country's development that refines me after use, but I am too scare and valuable in third world countries and developing countries. Please share me pro bono with every human being at least. 

4. Drink me

Drink me at least eight glasses a day. I am useful in clarifying your blood and skin. You need me in your body for urine system, vessel system and for perspiration. 

5. Water your fields

I am used for growing fields. The more I am pure the better your field. So water your field in accordance to its need and let others have chance of using me in time.

I am precious thing, think about me. 

I was born as innocent and naive as you all are. I spent my time with my family and friends pure and blameless. I went to school, college and even university to develop myself. I was eye apple of my parents, beloved classmate of my fellows, soul of gatherings and reformer of my society. I was law obeying person of my nation. Alas! what made me criminal?

When I completed my graduation for the university. I was deprived of job, which matched my degree. I saw dull and uneducated people enjoying life on one hand and my family was starving for a single morsel on the other. My mom was mourning for her joint aches. The society I wanted to serve was likely to snatch my life. My friends left me as I could not meet their status. I was left in high and dry alone. This all covered my wisdom and I did what I never wished to do. I did what I never want to think of. That made me criminal.  

My request to all is to help deprived ones. Now I acknowledge:

I am a criminal

but please save others.

Missiles after missiles have been ruined my dearest city (Gaza). Every new day appears in my life as a shocking nightmare. Ocean of blood and bones show up before my tear filled eyes. I saw my dad wrapped in shroud, dumped with blood and wounded all the way. I do remember my mom banging her head and face, crying over her husband’s corpse, while my sister was laying dead under the debris of my house.  Skulls, organs, and blood, which I see every passing day, are protesting against the rule of jungle and demanding silently from all humans in general and those who claim equality and humans’ rights in particular to stop transgressors. But all are silent and do not dare to halt mightier oppressors as they have accepted the rule ‘Might is right’ themselves.

You see those transgressors and their supporters speak shamelessly and hypocritically on dices of humanity, freedom of speech and religious tolerance, brotherhood, equality and respect and have appreciation of their nations. But they are uttering just hollow words. What was the offense of those who dead in my city, just to be Muslim and ask for justice?

This rule of might is right will prevail all over the world until we all humans stand up against it.

Thought provoking feelings of those who live in Gaza.

Whosoever wants to learn some thing, he has to work on his four abilities. All of these abilities help him to strengthen his knowledge and all of them requires him to pay attention to them. Let us have a look at them. 

1. Use your senses well. If you are seeking knowledge through reading, read well and try to read according to rules. If you are getting knowledge by listening, listen well. It needs individual practice too. 

2. Understanding is second step of attaining knowledge.

3. Memorizing is on the third step. If you forget your learned things you might not have any benefit from that in need.

4. Expressing your Knowledge in impressive and suitable way, whether it is writing or speaking. 

If you combine and work hard on these four points you will exactly feel the real taste of knowledge. 

Do you agree?

I observe myself and other people using such a language that hurts others' feelings. Whosoever is superior to anyone, he speaks him scornfully and does not care of his feelings. Human can heal easily from corporal wounds but he cannot heal wounds inflicted by words. This is the same thing a bard mentioned in his Arabic poetry:

جراحات السنان لہا التیام                  ولا یلتام ما جرح اللسان

which means: Injuries of swords have cure but there is no cure of what is wounded by the tongue.

We should think before using harsh words for others. someone proposed a good standard for treating others. That is to put yourself in the place of your listener and image what kind of words to you expect from others. This will help you to control your tongue.

When I saw this topic in English Club, I started thinking: What is the biggest problem in the world in my store of experience and knowledge? I concluded that the biggest problem in the world is Selfishness. Human being, on first step, focuses on himself then his family, then his tribe or race, then his city and so on. He wants every benefit for himself, his family, tribe or race and so forth whether it costs others harm. That is the reason massacre and wars are prevailing every where in the world. People for their own good destroy the nations. 

human being is naturally selfish and wants good for him alone. but the great human being is the one who sacrifice his goods for the well being of others. As we need good others need good too. We should not be over selfish.
