I didn’t know the process about getting a driver license in foreign countries. In China, There have four steps.

1.  Theory test about traffic regulations.

2.  Reverse parking.

3.  Skills test, such as parking on a slope, passing through the barriers and so on.

4.  Besides driving examiner, There will be 4 to 5 people in one car to drive one by one, and the driving examiner will judge if you pass or not.

I took the last exam today, I feel really sad that I was the only one that didn’t passed the exam, while the other four have got their driving license. I was extremely nervous during the exam that I had made many mistakes, and I’ll waiting for 20 days to have the exam again, the make-up exam fee is not cheap for me, I wish I could pass the next time.

     I have roughly finished the book, sense and sensibility, which was created by Jane Austen. The central character in the novel are two sisters, the paper mainly describes their view of love, Elinor is better at control her feelings while Marianne expresses her emotion without restrict. Elinor gaining a beautiful ending because of her national, while Marianna is finally betrayed by her first lover , through which she becomes more national and then married to her Mr right.

　　I think Jane was more prefer Elinor, who have sense and sensibility at the same time, and, how about you, my friends, what's more important, sense or sensibility. 　　 　　

　  The annual college entrance examination in 2012 has been over for some time now, you know, the college entrance examination is a very important exam in China, which is deeded as a great chance to change one's fate, the last year preparation for the exam in senior high school usually involves all-day study, endless tests and huge mental pressure for both students and their parents, I had been experienced the exam, and it's really hard during that period, there is no entertainment, just studying.

　　It's true in some extense, that the exam bring an opportunity to persue a better life, however, it also accompanied with many sad stories, some students who didn't acquire an idea marks commited suicide. A several days ago, my little cousin who has attended the exam this year told me that she got a poor marks, she was very sad and said that her parents were very disappointed too, she didn't known how to make a choice between rereading and applying for an independent college which charges more.

　　What I want to said is that it's just an exam, it's really ridiculous to deny oneself through an exam and going to college isn't the only way to succuss, we could still learn new knowledges outside college, and we could still become successful. here, best wishes for all the students.

    On a hot summer night, I was taking a ride for fun with my family , as we drive to the Dong Ting Lake bridge, the air grew cooler and fresher, I was looking acorss the Dong Ting Lake which was one of the big largest freshwater lake in China. Liu Yuxi, a poet of Tang dynasty, once wrote a poem, it described the "Eight hundred -mile Donting Lake", but now i can hardly feel the grandness of it, the area of the lake has dropped by nearly 50% in the past 70 years, because of the reclaimig farmland from it.

    The scenery reminded me of my childhood memories, the Dong Ting Lake bridge haven't been built then, and the lake was the only road to my grandmother's house, everytime I visited my grandmother by bus, when the bus was shifted from one side to the other side of the lake by a big boat, I'd took off the bus and hanged on the rail of the boat and looked into the beautiful scenery on the lake . There was many fishing boats on the Lake, and people who lived on the boat was made a living by fishing, I remembered one of my junior middle school classmate were lived on one of those fishing boats, the life here must be fantastic.

    Today is Chinese traditional Dragon Boat Festival, For thousands of years, the Festival has been marked by eating zong zi(glutinous rice wrapped by the leaves) and racing dragon boats.

    The festival has many legends, but the most famous one is to commemorate a famous Chinese poet Qu yuan, Qu yuan was a loyal, upright man, but the emperor in his country believed other's rumor and dismissed his position and he was send into exil. During his exil, he create a masterpiece, The Songs of South, which maintain a great literary value.

    In 278BC, his country was carved by the Chu state, Qu yuan was extremly sad about his motherland to be invaded. So, he jumped into Miluo River with a stone on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, many fisherman who lived near the river tried their best to save him, but they unable to find him, they felt very sorry as they known qu yuan was a good man. Finally, they decided to throw rice into the river to feed the fish, it is said that if marine animal was full, his body wounldn't be harmed. Later, people came up with the leave to wrap rice, and the 5th day of the 5th month was becoming a traditional festival to commemorate the patriotic poet, Qu yuan.
