They were so small when their mother left. I got them and they felt protected. They found a home and good food. They were so cute and wild at the same time. Their small universe was just playing and having good food. I taught them how to drink and eat. It was very hectic for me as they were so fragile and wanted to get out of the home all the time.
Some days passed by and they got strength to move around and eat food by themselves. Then the holidays were over and had to get back to work. There was thunderstorm and night was so cold and frightening. It kept raining all day. They caught cold and just kept lying down with eyes closed. They weren't eating anything, I came to know as I came back home after work. I was worried and I couldn't find two of them. I put warm clothes on the remaining fragile little souls and kept them in a warm place on that night. I tried so hard but they kept getting cold and cold. They weren't eating or opening eyes at all.
In the morning, as I woke up, I felt this strange bitter silence as something bad is coming. The darkness of death snatched warmth of life from little souls. I tried to wake them up but it was too late. Their bodies were stiff and cold. there was no sign of life. I sat and cried. I took the two bodies and kept them in their little house. I found the other two bodies in my yard. The innocent souls of my four kittens went to an unknown journey on that day. the death is so cruel, dark and cold. Life is so beautiful, bright and warm.
