My name is Peggy Fuentes and I’m 34. I live in Norway, in Bergen. I am married and have two beautiful kids Lina and Tobish. My mother always tells me that a family is the most important thing in our life. It’s really so. I tried to devote all my time to my husband and children. Unfortunately, I have forgotten to take care of myself. I did all housework. I was always busy with something. When my kids went to school, I realized that I felt lonely and wanted to change something. I was a housewife and tried to be the best cook for my family. I cooked a lot and didn’t notice that I had already changed my clothes size. At the beginning of my marriage it was 44 (L or 16 in the USA and the UK) and in 12 years it changed into 50 (XL or 22 in the USA and the UK). I also felt worse and got blood pressure problems. I looked at my old pictures and cried. I was only 32 but looked like a hippo. My husband called me “My Princess Fiona” because earlier I was slim and elegant and then turned to be an ugly ogre. It was a joke, but I felt terrible and humiliated. I wanted to get a job, but I was afraid that my look would scare all the employers.
Soon, my friend told me that they needed a woman who would help foreigners to get accustomed in Norway. It was my specialization according to my diploma. The only problem was my extra weight and I had to improve my English because not all foreigners could speak Norwegian. First, I signed up myenglishclub.com. My children and husband decided to support me and started learning English together with me. I turned to be a funny activity for the whole family. Next, I found many articles devoted to diets and sport. I didn’t have much time to visit different sports clubs, so I decided to choose a diet but it didn’t give the so wished results. I was very disappointed. I got a job but I didn’t feel self-confident there. I thought that everyone laughed at me and felt an aversion for me. Once I came across one interesting solution of my problem on this website. Finally, I got the results I wanted. First, I bought 48, then 46 and now I wear my old 44. All my colleagues were surprised. They noticed that I looked nicer and happier.
I still improve my English. I meet many foreigners, help them not to feel alone and alien here. Due to my new appearance, I can impress not only at work but at home as well. Now my husband calls me “My Queen” and tries to please me with flowers and different presents. I go on taking care of each member of my family but don’t forget to pay heed to myself.
