  I think maybe you want very much to use the words and thoughts of the Indonesian language instead of using my suggestions. I am trying to translate your thoughts into English (as you explained them to me not the exact words.) But I think my English interpretation does not capture the words you want to use from Indonesian. As we say, it loses something in the translation. So use you words as you wish. If you do not like the English words I chose, I understand. These words probably do not communicate the Indonesian meaning. But if you continue to use the Indonesian words translated into English word for word then the English speaker will not understand your poem. This is frustrating, isn't it? I am afraid you probably need to learn English a little better to communicate to me what your thoughts are. I am having difficulty with your English at this point and not able to help you. So sorry.

  The inner child is a term used in psychology. It describes that fact that while we grow up into adults, there still is the small child inside of us. That child often loves to play and discover new things in the world. If we let go of that inner child we become too serious and life is too difficult to manage. So I often bring out that joyful child who laughs and loves life even when it is difficult.

  What do you think of my translation? I have added my interpretation of what you told me. Dead to me, means he is not open to you. Held in tightness means his is afraid to show his feelings to you. The held means he is almost in a prison. But longing to reveal himself means that inside he really wants to show himself. Trying to release himself means he wants to stop being tight and afraid and would rather be free to express himself. Runs helplessly through a grove of dormant Cambodia trees. Helplessly means that he is unable to help himself in the situation or he can't choose correctly. If by 'not spring' you mean the trees are not in the fresh and green season but in a sleeping stage of winter, we can say dormant. Dormant lacks life. A grove is a bunch of trees. There's only one true way means that there is only one correct or valuable solution. As my longing fades means that your hope and wishes are reducing because you think he cannot see what is true. I hope I have understood what you want to say. If I did interpret this correctly, these words I chose do express my interpretation well. If I am incorrect in my interpretation please tell me and I can give you better words to express yourself.
