Dear Nadira,
Thank you very much for expressing good wishes for me. The atmosphere here in Pakistan is not good rather it is gloomy, sad and tragic. It is all due to recent flood that began in the beginning of this month and still is on full swing.Continuous heavy rains are making the situation more adverse.More than 30 percent area of the country is under water.nearly 3000 people have been killed.About 4 million people have lost their homes.Nearly 9 million people are facing severe weather in camps under open sky.It is the worst period in our whole history.
Kindly Pray to Allah Almighty for our Peace ,Prosperity and reconstruction.
With best wishes for your health

Dear Nadira,
Thank you very much for your encouraging remarks on photos.
You are right this mosque "The Badshahi Mosque" (The Royal Mosque) is a masterpiece of Islamic Architect. This mosque is in my city Lahore. It was built by the Moughal emperor Aurangzaib Alamgir nearly 300 years ago.The whole mosque has been built with red stone.Until the last three decades, it was the second largest mosque in the world after the Masjid-Ul_Haram in Makkah ,Saudi Arabia.(Now the Faisal Mosque,Islamabad,Pakistan holds this title.)
I fear that due to overcast sky,I have not been able to convey the delicacy, freshness and dignity of the carving, embossing and engraving of the stone work that is live even today. In future I shall try again.
Thanks again for praising the pictures.
With best regards
Amjad Ali
