Ok, let's start :-) This is my fist post in this blog and I think I should say a couple of words about myself and explain why I'm here.
My name is Kate, I'm from Russia. About four years I've been working as a science journalist. I was contributing a lot in my professional development. But now I'm currently out of race. I've lost my job because of liquidation of a news agency I was working in. And I don't like my new job, I'm bored with it, I'm looking for a new one.
The good thing is that now I have time for self-education and for my favorite activity which is dancing. I dance lindy-hop and locking, wacking.
One of my professional shortcomings is my poor English. I read a lot of science papers, popular science articles in English. But beyond this area I almost don't the language. Now I'm trying to fix this problem.
I can't afford a language courses, as they are rather expensive, but I can visit English speaking clubs (I really should do this more often), learn grammar by textbooks, read books, watch movies and write a blog.
I'll always be gratefull for your corrections :-)
