Morning, America! Thank you very much for answering! I speak fluent American English and don't make mistakes ( as Americans say). But the problem is that I teach it. I want to be sure when I teach, especially when I get conflicting answers from natives. It is about adverbs and not only. I am a professional, I learned many grammar books, asked many questions but I have always gotten different answers. I lived in the US for long and I don't want to sound hard about America as I consider it to be my second motherland. I love Americans, otherwise I couldn't stand living there for so long. Besides, I've spoken English since the age of 5. To make a long story short I'd like to ask: "How come that different American speakers who are professional English teachers give me different answers to the same question?" You see I "feel" your language as native. But I sometimes wonder. I know the difference between Brithish and American but how come that Americans feel it differently? I will be thankful for your reply
Dear Frank! It was very kind of you to answer for me in my group. I will explain Dinh more about modals +perfective. However, I have a question that can be answered by natine only. It is really urgent. Can you help me, please?
Well, the question is: which of the following sentences is correct (I mean the place of adverb)?
