The teacher had two students in his class, who were both named Johnny. One Johnny was an excellent student, a happy child, and always had his homework completed on time. The other Johnny was always in trouble, never had his homework finished, and generally made the teacher’s life miserable. On the PTA open house of the year, the mother of one Johnny asked the teacher how his son was doing in studies. Assuming it was the mother of the ‘good’ Johnny, the teacher replied, “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate him. I am glad he’s in my class.”The next day, for the first time all year, the ‘problem’ Johnny had all his work done, he asked questions in the class, and never once caused a disruption. He even volunteered to help another student. The teacher was astounded! At the end of the day when everyone else had left, the ‘problem’ Johnny came up to the teacher and said, “My Mom told me what you said about me last night. I haven’t ever had a teacher who wanted me in his class.” That Johnny became one of the best students the teacher ever had – and all because of a mistaken dose of appreciation!No matter who we are and what our situation in life is, we all want and need to be appreciated. A few sincere words of appreciation can make huge differences in life.

It's important for any learner to follow some steps to be a successful learner for any language. Here are some steps which I tried out in my study:1- Communicate your knowledge with others. we can do this through writing.2- You should read as much as you can.It's a useful step just if you read with understanding.3- Have confidence of your ability to talk and use your language even with native speakers. Because by doing this you will improve your way of talking and speaking.4- Use all the possible communication's tools to help you use your language. In this age we have the most important one which is the internet.so you can use the sites for teaching languages to help with some useful lessons.5- Apply what you learn in your real life.6-Think before you give an answer to any question just to be sure of your answers. A Programmer and an Engineer were sitting next to each other...A Programmer and an Engineer were sitting next to each other on an airplane. The Programmer leans over to the Engineer and asks if he wants to play a fun game. The Engineer just wants to sleep so he politely declines, turns away and tries to sleep.The Programmer persists and explains that it's a real easy game. He explains,"I ask a question and if you don't know the answer you pay me $5. Then you ask a question and if I don't know the answer I'll pay you $5." Again the Engineer politely declines and tries to sleep.The Programmer, now somewhat agitated, says, "O.K., if you don't know the answer you pay me $5 and if I don't know the answer I pay you $50! " Now, that got the Engineer's attention, so he agrees to the game. The Programmer asks the first question, "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" Then Engineer doesn't say a word and just hands the Programmer $5.Now, its the Engineer's turn. He asks the Programmer, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down on four?" The Programmer looks at him with a puzzled look, takes out his laptop computer, looks through all his references and after about an hour wakes the Engineer and hands the Engineer $50. The Engineer politely takes the $50 turns away and tries to return to sleep.The Programmer, a little miffed, asks, "Well what's the answer to the question?" Without a word, the Engineer reaches into his wallet, hands $5 to the Programmer, turns away and returns to sleep.

Jump out of the planeAn Englishman, Frenchman, Mexican, and Texan were flying across country on a small plane when the pilot comes on the loud speaker and says " We're having mechanical problems and the only way we can make it to the next airport is for 3 of you to open the door and jump, at least one of you can survive"The four open the door and look out below. The Englishman takes a deep breath and hollers "God Save The Queen" and jumps.The Frenchman gets really inspired and hollers "Viva La France" and he also jumps.This really pumps up the Texan so he hollers "Remember the Alamo" and he grabs the Mexican and throws him out of the plane.I hope you like this joke.Emilie
