The wonderful color of the water around me.
Your hair flows exquisitely,
The swells of the sea I swim in.
Your skin is smooth and beautiful,
The wet sand on the beach I stroll across.
Your musical voice,
The sound of the waves I love to hear.
Your high aspirations,
The gulls in flight looking down upon me.
Your loving heart,
The warm sun which makes me warm inside.
Your kindness,
The waves that give and take again.
Your delicate touch,
The light breeze which makes my skin tingle.
Your wonderful scent,
The salt air overloading my senses.
Looking back on days past,
Seeing the world in a brighter light,
I regret my cowardice in love.
Observing today I know what I have missed,
Understanding how unfortunate I truly was,
I had let love slip by.
Now I am bound by my own past,
Never to cross it again,
Forever marked by the old.
Longing to go back in time,
To go back to right my wrong,
