We had a guest

We had a guest. This was Japanese named Masa. Living in unstable country like Ukraine we often loose our habits, our history, our spirituality. His visiting us was a great lesson for me. The Life lesson. I felt an emptiness after he had asked me about the history of my town and our local area, we have almost lost it. I lost it either today. Our museum is occused to be locked for holidays. The next day he showed to me a guide book of Ukraine for tourists. That was a moment of true. I need the same one to avoid questions that I should know perfectly. Just had not being asked about any history of my lands. I know only short flashes of it.
I showed him our nature – the loving places I know well. We told a lot. He showed me the real attitude of the man who is interested in history of another countries, its nature, people, traditions indeed, and food. He is our inside. Our Ukrainian who loves life and pig lard like all we are.
He is spiritual man. He likes our Slavic places and people. Being like a child inside he is sincere and honest person, quite polite like a true human. I was impressed seing him next to me with lots of people that were not so clear and quiet. I and my spouse had met him a few months ago at holy mountains not far from our district, at the monastery which is known as [...]. We changed the emails and our conversation had began.
On the 2nd day we went to [...] as he wanted to stay there for a night and to meet his friends among the monks. They were like kids meeting him. Even though they don’t speak English well, they were happy seing him again at their monastery. And I was happy about a possibility to have a new friend from another part of the Earth, from Tokio.
I believe he enjoyed  visiting us here in small town without long history, I hope to see him again in the nearest future.
Thank you Masa! May God bless you!
