Becoming a trainer is a great experience. It is a need as well of various sectors. It requires mastery of the subject. One can be a trainer of technical as well as non technical subject (soft skills). Trainer can design and conduct training modules based on the needs assessed either by the trainer or by trainee. 

Reading helps a lot to be a trainer. There are numerous books having great knowledge wealth inside it. 

Training is a very respected profession giving good financial returns. the investment is by way brain. Ideas are important for the same. Through small experiments one can try becoming a good trainer. This is my personal experience.
