Natasha, I’m so glad you kindly added a comment on my empty topic. Thank you very much! I totally agree with you. I do believe that extraterrestrial life forms exist somewhere in the universe. But it’s impractical to think that we are going to meet each other in the near future. I’m sure Dr. Hawking is aware of it.
So, my interpretation is that he sarcastically wanted to say: “stop fighting, stop wars, take care of our environment, and bring peace to the earth; just mind our own earth’s business, then think about aliens”.
First of all, I'd like to say that I believe in existing of aliens, but I consider them to be somewhere far away, and I loudly laugh at those who tell us about coming across the aliens. These people are mad or liars.
