The second book that I want to introduce to everyone in here is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. This book is making readers go through Jane's five distinct stages of her life. Her childhood life at Gateshead where she was physically and emotionally abused by her Aunt and cousins. Then it carry us to her education at Lowood School.

Then the novel brought us to her time as a governess of  Thornfield Hall and where she fall in love with her employer Edward Rochester. It also shown us the time when she was with the Rivers family. Finally, her reunion and marriage to Edward Rochester.

I want members to click on the link here for the novel. It would be interesting if we can have a discussion on this novel.

I am looking forward for members participation and suggestions.

    • Hi dear shireen that would be great if you introduce this book in another discussion thanks a lot :)

    • Hi Shireen, I read Jane Eyre centuries ago. And I still "adore" it. I used to think that Mr. Rochester was one dashing gentleman. I used to stereotype an English man based on Mr. Rochester.

I'm not sure I've read "The Mill on the Floss". :-)

  • Dear Noas, I actually didn't read this novel, guess what???!!! Oh I'm a movie lover!!! So I watched its movie version and I really really really love it. Thanks for introducing this to us.

  • I will re-read it again too. And I hope members in here will find it interesting too. And will have a lively discussion about this.
