It isn't my own puzzle. It came to me on the competition "Kangaroo. Maths".
Sorry Sahar, I didn;t understand the first question.
Every letter means one of the 10 figures, not the numbers.
Darius, and what is your answer?
How meanings t*h*r*e*e can get?
Replies
Sorry!!
I think that I didn’t get the question correctly! Let me expalin it to you, maybe ypu can help me where I am wrong.
As you said each letter means a figure, then we will have (For example):
e=1, i=2, g=3, h=4, t=5, w=6, o=7, f=8, u=9
Now, we have still “r” here. Then it must be “0”! Namely:
r=0
Since you used “*” among them, we will have:
F*u*o*r=8*9*7*0=0 => e*i*g*h*t/t*w*o=0!!
Please tell me where I am wrong, Inesh?!
Hi!
Yes, it can get only one answer - 0.
There are only t can be 0, because only t is repeated.
Oh, when I solved this puzzle, I deleted t at first and forgot it, so I spent all day and only ne[t day understood that t is 0. :-) :-) :-)
Very very vey nice puzzle!
Thank you, dear Inesh.

e*i*g*h*t / f*o*u*r = t*w*o
e*i*g*h*t = f*o*u*r * t*w*o
e*i*g*h*t = f*o*u * w*o*t*r
e*e*i*g*h*t = f*o*u * w*o*t*r*e
e*e*e*i*g*h*t = f*o*u * w*o*t*r*e*e
h*e*e*e*i*g*h*t = f*o*u * w*o*t*h*r*e*e
t*h*r*e*e=h*e*e*e*i*g*h*t/f*o*u*w*o
t*h*r*e*e=h*e*e*e*i*g*h*t*t*r*y/f*o*u*w*o*t*r*y
t*h*r*e*e= e*i*g*h*t*y*t*h*r*e*e/f*o*u*r*t*y*t*w*o
Oh!!
Yes!
Nice!!
Very nice...
Oh!
Inesh, I don't know!!
We had some questions like this before. The only difference was this:
Each letters was coded by numbers according to a logical relation there, but in your puzzle every number is coded by one letter.
Now, I have 2 questions:
1-Are these letters coded according to a logical relation?
2- Have you made this puzzle yourself? (It is really nice, I like it)
Every letter means a figure.
Same letters mean the same figures.
What do you mean, Inesh?!
