Tropical Island ?
Is there any desert in tropical zone ? I don't think so . Tropical zone is a place where there is so much rain .

So I'm not worry about fresh water there.
I have no boat So I cant distant from coast and as you know usually there is no fish near the coast. So I don't need Fishing equipment.
There is no electricity there or maybe any TV station . So TV is useless.
I can't cook. I've never learned it. So I don't need Cooking pot and flour , Pasta and beans.
I'm to lazy to cut the trees to make a boat. So an Ax is a useless thing for me .
There is no window around for using the telescope to be a nosy one by observation others' life. :->
I know were I am . For sure I am in a tropic Island So I don't need Compass , Maps, and books of navigation . It is rescue team who need these thing to find me as a survivor.
So
Let me choose Chocolates ( a plenty of ) Radio and batteries ( for musics) book of tropical edible plants ( to make a fire ) and fireworks
To make a celebration and enjoy it . :->
I asked my teacher about deserted Island. He answered it isn’t desert. It is deserted and means that nobody live there.

I was just smiling when I was reading it.
So our book is wrong about desert. I will ask it in my class to see what is wrong certainly.
But let me say something about beans. They aren’t just for cooking, we can plant them too. Of course as you said about cutting the trees I know that you won’t make yourself tired to plant them. I just said it to be fair about those beans.

What about some times that we like to eat some traditional food like FESENJOON?!! (It’s an Iranian delicious food with walnut that its cooking last more than 2, 3 hours)
