    This discussion has made me interested about calligraphy in English!

    Sometimes we need to be in a difficult situation in order to be stronger and see the world in different way, exactly like that poor pencil. Surely it got hurt when you sharpened it, but see how it looked after. It saw the same world it was seeing before being sharpened but in a different way, in an optimistic beautiful way. Do regard the beautiful look and the nice production "writing" of the pencil too. :)

     

    And ummm, I see how the pencil wrote a spelling mistake "gose" before being sharpened. When we see the world badly, we are being blind somehow. We mess up the things that we already know. That's what exactly happened with the word "goes".

     

    If this photo is transferred to a story and I have to analyze it, I would say the sharpening event is the climax which everything has changed after. ;)

      What does a pencil prefer to be ? A long dull one with a bad and clumsy effect or a short one with its best performance ??

      Very good question!

      Let me ask it from my crayon’s box.

      White:

      I like to do the best performance at every condition because I want to erase all darkness!

      Blue:

      I also like to do the best because the sky and sea are blue in paintings and I want to show them in the best way.

      Green:

      So do I! All plants must be green.

      Yellow:

      Sorry! I don’t have any idea!

      Red:

      A short one!

      Never!!

      I must be in the best form!

      I don’t want to destroy my beautiful shape!!

      Black:

      If darkness will come to lives, then it is better to be a dull one.

      But when it will show the beauties of the stars, doing the best performance is the best wishes.

      If I were a pencil, I will prefer being short. Short things usually have something special that tall things don't have. And I had been tall, so I need to appear in a new look too. :->

      Yes ! You are right. all the things you've written about this picture are right.Sometimes we need to change our minds and polish our hearts to remove all the malice. It needs a hesitation to think.
