the most important thing in relationship ,you should be honest, forgiveness,trustful, also every person need a mutual support. For mutual support you have to share every think with that partner. so you should try to show that you believed on him or her.

I'll been married for near 10 years, I think the list is near complete, maybe I would say it is very important to respect each other past and family relationships, and learn (find out) what your relation needs in order to maintain the relationship working. I read a book years ago about finding out what it takes to fill up your partner's "love tank", maybe it is flowers, maybe words of love, maybe listening to her, maybe doing things for her, maybe holding her,kissing her. It's a combination, sometimes we forgot specially after years of marriage.
