Although we’ve known each other via  internet, I love you very much.

All  I know about you: you are a mother and a member of karaoke in EC.

Knowing you better, please let me do an interview.

Let’s begin,

1-      Please introduce yourself : who are you?  

Ans: Hello Everybody! I’m Jocelyn a.k.a Miley, hails from Philippines. I’m 32 years of age. A mother of two kids. I took up B. S. in Accountancy and worked  as Customer Service Assisstant for more than four years here in my hometown and in Dubai, UAE. Also, I worked as Accounting Staff for about six months. Now, I am full time mother. A dedicated mom, stays at home, raising two little boys, doing household chores and others. It doesn’t mean that I have no time for relaxation. In my spare time, usually I am singing, or sometimes I’m reading books, listening to music, chatting or watching English movies. It depends on my mood.

2-      Tell us about your routin day,

Ans.: As a mother, I get up early and make breakfast for my kids. After preparing for breakfast, I’ll wake up my eldest son to eat his meal, take a bath, brush his teeth, etc..and to get ready for school. When my son already leaves our home my youngest son already awake that time. We both eat breakfast, after do dishes and make his daily personal hygiene. Then it is time to clean the house, bathroom, kitchen and others. I don’t do laundry. I also cook lunch and dinner but not always. If my sisters are around then I’ll let them do the cooking. That time I’m chatting with my hubby and at the same time visiting MyEC or Facebook. In the afternoon, I often take a nap because I also taking care of my nephew if not I’m watching television shows or definitely I’m chatting for few hours here in EC. If my friends are not around time to record my own rendition for my workshop in KARAOKE GROUP. It’s time to chill out! Feels like I’m in a full swing. At night after dinner, I am helping or teaching my son with his homework or do advance reading amd make sure he gets it done. Play little bit with kids at bed when they are asleep well time to go back at EC or Skype with few friends around. Finally, don’t forget to pray and thank God for a wonderful day.

3-      When you face a problem, do you deal with it directly ?

Ans. : Talking about problems, I am like a crying baby but it doesn’t mean I’m weak.  I guess this is natural. Whenever I/ we  have a problem I immidiately consult God to help us solve the problem/s. Problem is always an issue and it is inevitable. It is wise to start with a principal issue, taking them one at a time. Marital conflict is usually my issue. My husband and I are distant. We are in a long distant relationship it is quite hard fo us to stay like this. Every time we sturggle, I need to hear my partner’s side, my side and the right side. Interaction and listening is very important. Being selfish will not solve the problem.

But sometimes, I’d rather behave and listen to his words ( it wouldn’t help). Once we already understand the ”tip of the iceberg/ root of bitterness” it is time to make an action. Decision are to who will do,where and when. Frequently, on marital cocflict we can’t dent that spouses hurt each other in what we say ad what we do. Always say the golden words “ I am sorry”. Also think positive through out all this action. We must believe that success is possible and expect it. Finally thanks God for his guidance and for his response he had.

4-      Can you describe the succesfull life?                                                        

Ans.: True successfull in life can’t be measured with having lot of money, being wealth, earned degree, luxurious cars, having fame, etc. But instead with the amount of people that are able to live life better and more advanced because of what we/they created. For me to live a happily life and to give my family a better placeto live in is a successfull life.

Once you have figured what is important for you personally you are able to focus on your vision and goals definitely success will on your way.

5-      We all have choices in our life. What’s secret  making good choices and did you ever find yourself making  a hard decision ?

Ans.: Making choices is usually a difficult assignment. It is like a battlefield. But all through life we must make them. My secrets are always ask GOD for his help in making right choice. Always involve him into your heart and into your life. He knows what is best for us. You must make choices that honor, love and support your self and family.I already had a hard decision where in I sacrificed my personal goals in life like my becoming a real singer and be a carreer mom. For doing so, I able to think on my feet in this case meaning I made the right decision. My kids are growing and they need more of my time. That PARENTING is not a lowly duty;  it is an exalted privilege. It is not a second – class assignment ; it is a first - class responsibility. To some extent, the word “mother” has become a synonym for love. And this is what they need most.

6-      Do you live your life as you  desire?  What about feelings, dreams, passions, beliefs ?

Ans. : YES! God gave me this life and I’m indulging it. Though I want a perfect life but there is no such thing like that. İ am emotionally, physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually fit. I can’t complain. Life is been good to me.

7-      What’s the first essential aspect in your life ?

Ans.: Spiritual aspect is very important to me. Without God, I am nothing. We are nothing. I owe my life to him. He gave me a loving husband and kids. If we have fear, faith and belief in works of his hand then God shall supply all your need according to his riches.

8-      What would you do, if you had to be  without accomplishment, degree, bank account, status, ?

Ans.:  I think we all have accomplishments. If you don’t have it at all means you are the “weakest link”. Yet I often asks my husband “ Did I accomplished something”? He answered “ Yes. Our kids and I are your greatest accomplishment. Your biggest investment”. I may not be professionally accomplished but in the eyes of my family I am larger than life.

9-      Have you a commitment to yourself ?

Ans.:  Right now, my commitment is to my family. Showing affection, giving appreciation, spending time together, nurturing a “yes” attitude, being a responsible mom and a loving wife and others that can make us grow emotionally and spiritually, without condition. These are my strong sense of commitment.

10-  Say a few words about “Being yourself.

Ans.: Being Miley, is like being a dreamer. Always dreaming of a perfect life. A perfect world of mine. A picture perfect!

11-   As to english ;  How did you learn english ? Please share your experiences and give us some advices,,

I started learning English since I entered school at age of five. From very easy to difficult English. We studied English academically, yet communication and implementation are lacking for it is not our native langauge. It is not enough that you know grammars, pronunciation, intonation, comprehension and so on. We must also apply these knowledge through writing blog or any forms of writing and learn how to interact by chatting or voice chatting, sing an English songs like what we have in KARAOKE GROUP  to improve your speaking skill. Learning English doesn’t end in school. Learning is a continous process. Educate your self day by day and take your English level to the next level. Know it by heart!
