These salted bars(amuse-gueules-in french)are served as snacks and crackers,as not everybody love sweets in my family,and these salted bars are always successful.Ingredients:500g white flour,250g margarine,150g grounded cheese,2 teaspoonfuls of salt,200ml sourcream(or yoghurt),1 eggyolk(+egg white to brush the top with it)Preparation:Crumble the margarine with the flour(with your hands)than add the salt,and 150g grounded cheese.Add 1yolk of egg and 200 ml sourcream mixed with 25 g yeast in it,knead thoroughly till receiving a flexible texture loaf.Rest it for 1 hour,then roll out,brush with the eggwhite and sprinkle with cheese.Then we cut it up to little bars,put in a 180celsius preheated oven and roast for ca. 15-20minutes.

I use to watch a cooking tv channel program we have,and sometimes I try to do some new things I saw in it,or what I find on internet.
It's so exiting,and when I succeed,I put it to my little cooking diary,where are writen my favourites,and family recipes that I do often.:D
It looks delicious and very easy, now I am already in my final days of school teaching, I will try some new things from here. Sometimes the routine in the kitchen kills my enthusiasm to cook.

When we I bake sweet cookies I always prepare something salty too,thinking the ones,who can't eat sweets:as my grandpa,being a diabetic.

Sometimes besides cheese I sprinkle the top with cumin seeds too,it's also tasty.
