This is my own recipe of this bread :
-500 g of flour (white)
-200 g of fine semolina
-salt
-oil (about 3 soup spoons)
-yeast of dough (about 2 soup spoons )
-lukewarm wate
-1 egg
-anise
so you put together the flour ,semolina ,oil ,salt ,and yeast in a big bowl or a kneading-trough then add little by little the water until you will have a homogeneous dough .then continue to malaxate it for 10 minutes .
Cover it and let it rise until you will see it double the volume aboout 1 hour .
form your bread as you want ,you can make differents ways :big ,small ,braid ...you can use moulds .then daub each one with a brush the egg (to get a nice colour )and put anise and other seeds you like .
let it another time rise for a moment ,after that you can cook it in (180°) until it will be golden .
it is better to put the dough in closed place far from draught.
i hope i have explain it well ,it's my first recipe written in english !!so good luck for those who will try it ...

yes indeed semolina is very fine .
Thank you very much for the recipe.
I understood the method,it is well translated.
I1ve never done a homemade bread before, but I use to prepare homemade Pizza, the method is quite similar.
I'm sure I will try to do them.
Just one question:semolina is the same as groats,or it has a finer consistence.
There is kind of dough I don't get here ... example, semolina and anise, probably different terms used here
okay, they seem so delicious, thanks!
