5. Raconteur :- Noun

"Someone who tells funny or interesting stories"

6. Conceal :- Verb

-I tried to conceal my surprise when she told me her age.

-It was said that the police concealed vital evidence.

7. Contempt :- Noun (no respect) [U]

-You should treat those remarks with the contempt that they deserved.

29. Idyllic :- Adjective

"an idyllic place or experience is extremely pleasant, beautiful or peaceful"

-an idyllic childhood/summer.

30. Giggle :- Verb [I]

"to laugh repeatedly in a quiet but uncontrolled way, often at something silly or rude or when you are nervous"

-Stop that giggling at the back!

31. Peasant :- Noun [C]

"a person who owns or rents a small piece of land and grows crops, keeps animals, etc. on it, especially one who has a low income, very little education and a low social position. This is usually used of someone who lived in the past or of someone in a poor country"

33. Artless :- Adjective

34. Blunt :- Adjective (rude)

"saying what you think without trying to be polite or considering other people's feelings"

-I'll be blunt - the last piece of the work you did was terrible.

35. Accusations :- Noun [C or U]

"a statement saying that some one has done something morally wrong, illegal or unkind, or the fact of accusing someone"

-You can't just make wild accusations like that!

-He glared at me with an air of accusation.

36. Resort to sth :- Phrasal Verb

"to do something that you do not want to do because you cannot find any other way of achieving something"

-I had to resort to violence/threats to get my money.

37. Humiliating :- Adjective

"making you feel ashamed or stupid"

-Losing my job was the most humiliating thing that ever happened to me.

-The government suffered a humiliating defeat in yesterday's debate.
