William made some nice New Year’s resolutions this year. A resolution is a decision that a person makes to one of his projects, goals or habits. William makes these resolutions on 1st January every year on the same subjects. Here you can see his progress.
Resolution 1
2008: I will read at least 20 good books a year.
2009: I will read at least 10 books a year.
2010: I will read 5 books a year.
2011: I will finish Robinson Crusoe this year.
2012: I will try to read one comic book this year.
Resolution 2
2008: I will try to be a better husband to Marry.
2009: I will not shout at Marry.
2010: I will not lie to Marry.
2011: I will not leave Marry.
2012: I will try to be a better husband to Jessica.
Resolution 3
2008: I will not drink every weekend.
2009: I will not drink every day.
2010: I will not drink before 5 pm.
2011: I will not touch the bottle before noon.
2012: I will not drink whisky for breakfast.

If I may,I just wanted to clarify that in reading years:
you read the years correctly at the beginning then you started to say it like e.g. twenty ten.
1- For the years from 1999 and down it is pronounced
1999 nineteen ninety-nine,
1812 eighteen twelve,
1750 seventeen fifty,...ect
when the years end with zero and another number like 1901, or 1708,1503
it should be pronounced like:
1901 nineteen oh one or nineteen hundred and one,
1708 seventeen oh eight or seventeen hundred and eight, and so on.
From 2000 and up it is pronounced
2001 tow thousand and one or two thousand one,
2010 two thousand and ten or two thousand ten,
2011 tow thousand and eleven or two thousand eleven, and so on
