Yeah, I am Filipino. English is one of the major subjects in our country. Maybe it is our second language. Historically,we'd been colonized by Americans, I think it was a big help for us. Sometimes when I'm talking to my son we speak English.

Yeah, some here speaks Spanish. Philippines was colonized for 333 years, the longest colonization happened here if I'm not mistaken. My maiden name sounds Spanish " BASANEZ", for my grandparent in father side is half spanish, that 's according to my father hehehe...
I only knew how to count in Spanish :)!
