Actually, I do not know what kind of hejab is the one that Islam wants us to observe. Some girls have a really attractive face that even if they cover up their body and hair but their face, men will be attracted to them. I think, unfortunately, in our Islamic world, men are left free to wear whatever they like and they do not cut their gazes. I think if men were more careful about their eyes, women would be more comfortable. I think there is no need to cover up the face, we have to cover our body and hair in a non-attractive way, but face and hand up to the wrist can be left uncovered to let us be more free.
Some girls cover up their hair and body, but they wear really attractive jeans and shirts. This kind of hijab is not perfect and is not due to what Islam meant by setting the rule of Hijab.

Sorta the same as you mentioned, but I do not cover my face. My Hijab is like the first picture that my friend Mahgol has presented here.
