Welcome equal signs anyway! Also congratulations for being 100th member. Enjoy your being here. ^_^

Fizzy, if that was a wedding ceremony, requiring all casts to dress up into anime characters(cosplaying). Then I would believe, that your weekend was better than mine. Otherwise.. okay I won't say more. lol.

PS. I wonder how to you determine bishonen Fizzy. What are the most critical features for you, that a bishi must have?

Most of anime characters looks much like bishi.

The character suddenly becoming "chibi" is called "Super Deformation"(SD) But I don't know what was first anime, or manga using it.
All that I can find from Internet, is that this is a part of Japanese culture.....some blablablabla, That the earlier video games used this similar "chibi" style of characters, but that was rather because of technical difficulties to render normal sized detailed characters to screen at that age of computer technology..
It seems, no one can tell for sure, when it was adapted to other media.

I like chibi and SD too.. I liked the super deformation in Aria series very much.
There was one hentai anime too that used SD.. but I won't tell witch hentai it was. lol, It had funny humorous plot. I liked it. ^_^

Well, yoh was able to watch. all "zettai shonen" episodes.. by a weekend, or was it just by one day.. So then maybe also u could do it too and beat yoh by watching some longer anime.. Maybe something that have bishonen in it.. ("zettai shonen" is a good anime.. one of the best. I like it very much too.)

Well in reality, those have been also to me, just some rather rare times when I watched 20 episodes per day. Can't do it every day, 2 years in row.. My health would go too bad, if I did it.
Because I'm diabetic.. have type I diabetes. I know very well how important exercising and ..healthy life style is. ^_^

I'm not sure when was the first time, I saw a Japanese anime. But the first time I got more obsessed, was when they showed Ranma1/2 in Germans tv channel RTL2. Don't know what I liked, maybe the female ranma, or perhaps Shampho.. there were some nude scenes too, where Ranma and Shampo were in path togrther... That must be the case, right. LOL

I got pretty quickly adapted with huge eyes in anime, but I was very shy to admit that I like anime.. Like many people, I thought, that anime is just for kids.. So I often said eww what abnormal eyes.. Since my mom was criticizing Ranma1/2, because, in her opinion, the girls had too big boobs, for their age. I had even more difficult to admit, that I like.. So I just said that I watch to improve my Germans listening. :P

I really don't know what I liked in it. I have tried to watch it latter again, but really, it's not that good..

Then there was more animes in Germans tv. channels.. they were all translated to Germans, but I still liked. There was Inuyasha and onepiece on RTL2.. and on viva.tv there were also some anime more suiting for adults.. ..X, Bluesubmarine nr6, Agent Aika, Noir, ....The Candidate for Goddess... and many more.. Don't remember all that I saw. I watched them all and also their replays.. I don't understand Germans so well, that's also why I had watch also every replay. My favorite was likely "Noir"

Then, much latter. I met Anahita in Englishclub. And she introduced me realitylapse website, where can download a lot of anime free.. The first anime I watched was.. Ergo Proxy.. It was recommended by Anahita, since she was then watching it that time.. Then soon, I troubled her again demanding for more recommendations.. But soon I got courage to try some by my self and then I was watching something like 20 episodes of anime per a day.. saw almost all anime that was on that website.. I think it took me 2 years to see them all. lol

Well, I'm not really a hikikomori, but maybe still pretty much like shut in.. Or don't like to associate with people.. I guess my social whatever behavior things, are all learned from anime. So I may act like a anime character too. Don't be too surprised, when I call you -"anta baka" Yeah 2d world might be more familiar to me. ;)

But my knowledge about anime is rather low.. Like directors, studios, voice actors.. and so on. I know almost nothing compared to true otaku(like those in "Genshiken"). ^_^

I decided, that "The World Only God Knows" is a horror anime.

For me, who only likes 2D, it wold be a real nightmare, but the episode ended well.. the protagonist was heroic and didn't chicken out..

Next time, it's not so scary anymore. LOL
