It has long been a contentious issue as to whether students love is good or bad. Some people are of the opinion that students should fall in love, while others point out that student love is harmful. To my mind, I totally agree with the former opinion because advantages of student love overweigh its disadvantages.

First of all, having relationships can motivate students to be better in many respects. Obviously, when in love, people always wish to be perfect in their partner’s eyes; and students are not exceptional. Therefore, they never stop changing themselves in a more positive way so that they deserve their partners. For instance, if a student’s girlfriend is a studious excellent student, he will try to improve his performance in class, for he has a strong motivation of becoming a good student.

Secondly, student love is usually beautiful and romantic, which becomes colorful memories in student life. Being students, despite the fact that they do not have a lot of money or high status, they truly care about each other and build up their relationship together. On the contrary, entering the working world, people tend to be concerned much about their partners’ social status, career or financial situation, etc which may make love more practical.

Lastly, love helps students grow up. Having affection for another person itself is a sign of maturity. Moreover, when two people are in love, they have to be tolerant of the other’s mistakes and take responsibility to maintain their love. In addition, they learn how to balance their time between learning and being with their partner. Thanks to this, they have better skills of allocating time.

In general, student love is advantageous because it inspires and creates favorable conditions for students to be better as well as leaves many good impressions in students. Therefore, everyone should consider this type of love as a positive aspect of student life.
