Do you mean icebreakers, brainstorms, things like these?
Well, normally I do an icebreaker or any nice activity before starting a new lesson, because it's a good way to make them feel comfortable to learn a new subject. Try to plan your lessons in advance and as you do this, see activities that can be linked to what you're gonna teach.
If you need help, just contact me! =)
See ya!
I am looking forward to teaching people of all ages.

neighbours for free around my boarding house, it was a nice experience cause i learnt by doing too. So the conclusion is just practice and practice will make your english is getting perfect while you share your knowledge with the others (^,^)
I have young sts too and I love them! These ages are very good to teach, we have a lot of fun in class. Also, I have sts aged 3-5 years old, another special ages. They are so lovely! Have you ever taught kids like these?
Let's exchange ideas and our experiences.
Cheers,
Joyce.
