English pronunciation is not difficult to solve if you know the right approach. But, first and foremost, you must understand that English is a NON-PHONETIC language. A non-phonetic language or writing system is one where the spelling of words does not consistently correspond to their pronunciation. Unlike, for example, Spanish and Finnish, you cannot reliably predict how to pronounce a word in English solely by looking at its spelling.
This is where PHONETIC TRANSCRIPTION can help us with English pronunciation. Phonetic transcription is the visual representation of speech sounds using standardised symbols, most commonly the International Phonetic Alphabet (see pic). If you master the skill of reading phonetic transcriptions, you will be able to pronounce all the words listed in a dictionary appropriately. Interestingly, it will take you only a month to master the skill.
Now, I will post a phonetic transcription every day if possible. In fact, I was doing it here until 2023. Now I would like to resume where I stopped, i.e., Pronunciation of the Day - 1040. There is a way to RECORD our pronunciation online and embed the AUDIO PLAYER here so others can LISTEN and LEARN from us.
Here's the link to that particular FREE voice recording site. It is called VOCAROO. https://vocaroo.com/

Note: This is a phonetic transcription, also called a pronunciation spelling in layman's terms. If you can read phonetic transcriptions appropriately, you'll be able to tell the pronunciation of all the words in a dictionary. Isn't that amazing?
