there is something light seen in its eyes...but maybe my eyes are too weak to recognize the scene ...it is somewhat vague... maybe it is looking at the window using its eye's windows... but sometimes we SEEM to look at somewhere but we are not attentive...our eyes are open but our minds are wider open...we look at the images drawn in our own mind instead of the outward world..maybe he is startled by a fantastic image in his mind...maybe he is remembering his mom as you said...maybe he is thinking of the photographer he has seen... maybe he is thinking of you dear.....
