for the time beingthat means for the present or if you describe how a situation will be for the time being, you mean it will be like that for a period of time, but may change in the future.Examples:1.We are living in a hotel for the time being ,but later we will try to find a small apartment.2. She is working in the export department for the time being.

    Hello Frank,

    Thanks for the note. Now I have 'for now' and 'for the time being' to be alternate when I make sentences.
