Here are the results for the vocab paper from yesterday. Congratulations to those students who really took some trouble of studying the vocabulary from all our lessons this semester. I know the teacher is proud of you. Katherine's name should be mentioned in particular as she top scored; Kay very close to her in second place; and Jiang Dan, Cai Huibin and Xu Yang in third place. Thank you for your hard work!
But I also have to mention that quite a number of you disappointed me very much as it was clear to me that you didn't even look at the vocab again before the test. I understand that this was only a volunteer-class, but quite a number of students did show me that they revised the vocab and their results were the proof. Then I wonder why Hou Jialei and Hui Ying didn't complete page two of the three pages? Have you never done a multiple choice paper before?
Here follows the individual marks (in percentage points):
97% - Katherine
95% - Kay
90% - Jiang Dan, Cai Huibin, Xu Yang
87% - Huo Meng, Shelly, Zhang Min
83% - Helen
80% - Ying Haiyang, Katrina, Lu Wenjun, Long Yuan
77% - Hong Jingjing, Guo Hongtai; 75% - Caroline, Luo Yuanyuan; 73% - Yao Zengjun, Yang Xiaoyan, Wang Xiaoxu, Li Yaze; 67% - Xu Heyun; 63% - Zhang Ke, Zhang Yingying, Tiffany, Song Guangxia; 60% - Liu Weifang, Amy, Li Xinlan.
The following students didn't pass the test:
57% - Zhao Ziwei, Lyn; 53% - Hui Ying, Fang Xue, Lily; 50% - Zhu Qianfeng; 48% - Zheng Chunyu; 33% - Hou Jialei.
P.S. Btw, congratulations to the 7 students who had never been absent once from our classes. In my student days that was something to be proud of, and I still think it is a great achievement! Well done!
Amy, Guo Hongtai, Yao Zengjun, Ying Haiyang, Kay, Zhao Ziwei, Hong Jingjing.
