      Katrina, you mustn't first look at what your classmates before you have commented, because it is inevitable that you would then mention some points they raised (like about 'culture', in this case)! Be original! It doesn't sound like you know the song we're going to listen to tomorrow, Katrina? You can choose between two versions tomorrow - I personally like the one by the Japanese singer most.

    Love is a seed.After sun shines,it grows rose.Rose looks beautiful but be careful maybe it will hurt somebody.As for school uniform,i have worn for twelve years from elementary school to senior high school.I approve of wearing school uniforms.It is a school culture,i think.

      You are right that the wearing of school uniforms at schools is correct, I think. The advantages in favour of school uniforms are much more than the disadvantages. Wearing private clothes in schools would just distract the boys!

    As for school uniforms,I dont agree with that students must wear school uniforms when they go to school.I think everybody has their tights to choose what to wear.And if there is one form for all,students may can not express their individuality.Maybe there are many good reasons for students wearing school uniforms,but I think students can choose wear it or not ,at least.

      I agree, Amy, the lyrics are beautiful. This is one of my favourite songs! The version by Westlife is very good, but my favourite version is the one by the Japanese singer, Asi Teshima. I'll let you listen to both versions tomorrow and you can decide which one you prefer.
      About wearing school uniforms, I guess there are good reasons for making that compulsory among school students. Maybe it's better like that, because I think the girls will distract the boys' attention if they dress too beautifully! :)

    As far as I am concerned,I think that wearing the uniform is necessary.If all of the shudents wear very fashion,The class will not like a class.Teachers would be dazzledo on class.Students may not be studying seriously.At the same time I fear that students would compare to others,so it will wreck thesentiment between students.

      Yes, I think you are right, Wu Ting; the students may be competing against one another (to dress the most beautifully or fashionable) and may forget the real reason why they are still at school! And of course, they would look too beautiful to the boys and distract their attention too! So, I guess wearing uniforms at school is a good thing. :)

    from fangxue I think in the University before the school should wear uniforms, can reduce the students between the Joneses, without having to spend a long time to dress themselves, increase learning time, let the students learn more attention

      Fang Xue, I was thinking about you using Hong Jingjing's EC website name to comment here. It is not necessary to do that when you use her computer. You can still enter the website under your own username. You don't have to use your own computer for that. So, try to use your own name next time. If you can't use that, then the problem is not with your computer, but with your username or password.

    I am listening the song ,sang by Bette Midler,her voice is fair-sounding and tender .When she sing this song softly ,I feel peaceful.And the song sang by Westlife also sounds great.Love is a flower ,and the lover is only seed.
    About the school uniforms,I start wearing it when I study in primary school.It's the symbol of our identity as a student.It's a kind of campus culture.But I don't like wearing it,its quality is
    bad and it looks not so good.
