(2)The problem about the wear of school uniforms, I think schools should be required to wear uniforms. If it is not required to wear, wealthy students will wear more noble. It's easy to hurt the poor child's self-esteem that influence learning.Moreover, some of the students like wearing strange. If required to wear school uniforms, all students are the same,and there will be no differences. And most of the Chinese high school is required to wear school uniforms every day. By the way, I think, the Chinese school uniform is very ugly in comparison with other countries.
I agree, Xu Heyun, the lyrics are beyond beautiful! Yes, an old song, but it has never lost it's 'magic'! It was written in 1977 and the first recording was in 1979. Westlife sings it beautifully, but I fancy the version by Asi Teshima more. I'll play both versions in class tomorrow.
About the school uniforms, I like your comment. The wearing of the uniforms will definitely render more protection to the poorer children. And some students would like to show off, or where weird clothes not relevant for school. Haha, I agree with you too on the Chinese school uniforms! They (the education authorities) can really give attention to that and make it more attractive. :)
I think for student uniform is a must， from the primary school to the high school， we have been accompanied by uniform, on the one hand, because of the uniform, we will be treated more equal, people will not treat us differently based on the price of clothes,on the other hand, the uniform has a kind of magic, when we put on the uniform, we will be more obedient than wearing civilian clothes, because we always remind us something that we are students,is is also a must for school,because of it,school can manage students more convenient.
I think you have a good point there, Hui Ying. The wearing of civilian clothes can be a distraction and girls may even compete with one another to wear more beautiful (and expensive) clothes. So, wearing uniforms while at school, may be the best solution.
In my opinion, wear school uniform in elementary is a common phenomenon. And the uniform is really cheaper than the designer clothes. But I don't think it can impact students' study. Wear school uniform is a good choice to avoid students peer.
Yes, it's quite a romantic song, Zhao Ziwei. Westlife's version of the song is beautiful, but my favourite version is by the Japanese singer, Asi Teshima, and is also the version I have uploaded here on the website. I will let you listen to both versions tomorrow and you can decide for yourself! I agree that school uniforms may be the better choice as students would then concentrate on their studies; and of course, it is not as expensive as private clothes.
I think you have a valid point there, Song Guangxia. When there are uniforms, everyone looks about the same and everyone can concentrate on their studies (especially the boys who don't see the beautiful girls in their beautiful and fashionable clothes!). :)
I remember that my primery school allow us wear our own clothes ,but we must wear red scarf .my midle school asked us wear our uniform only monday ,for we should do the tradition that raising national flag.unfortunately ,my high school requiring us wear EVERY day ,we have blue and green ,change the color once a week ,take attention ,we must in a same color.It's actually killing our personality ,the most important is that we can't wear any accessories ,rings ,pandents whatever ,NO.
