  • You can also paint a picture Nafis.. I saw your's before:) the

    y are lovely.
  • Dear Nafis,

Whaouu, what a surprise !!! I knew Hitler had painted some canvas but I didn't know they could be seen . I have to admit that I have never been very interested by him. I completly agree that he behaved as a mentaly sick man and all what he did here and in the countries around is just intolerable. Sorry i am always trying to be tolerant, but with him, and a few others like him, it's just too impossible.
I am amazed by the fourth painting, the perspectives are so good and that's not the easiest thing to do when painting !

Thanks for this intersting topic Nafis.

Wishing you a great end of the week. Big hug.

  • is he/she a painter from Iran? You don't give me any clues ...

  • Dear Zahra,

I'm so glad that you liked the post and thanks a lot for great information you provided. It is really interesting. I can't really judge who really Hitler was..if you read his biography, in some part he behave as an sick person..in another cases, he is so smart and as you said, softt...but, he was so powerful that could lead a nation and all loved him so much...it's considarable...

    Have a lovely time,
    Nafis
  • I found these touching words !!!
"Alois-Adolf's dad- was a civil servant. This was a respectable job in Brannau. He was shocked and totally disapproving when the young Hitler told him of his desire to be an artist. Alois wanted Hitler to join the civil service.
Hitler’s mother - Clara - was the opposite of Alois - very caring and loving and she frequently took Hitler’s side when his father’s poor temper got the better of him. She doted on her son and for the rest of his life, Hitler carried a photo of his mother with him where ever he went."

"Hitler had never given up his dream of being an artist and after leaving school he left for Vienna to pursue his dream. However, his life was shattered when, aged 18, his mother died of cancer. Witnesses say that he spent hours just staring at her dead body and drawing sketches of it as she lay on her death bed."

In another part of the article I am reading I can see these lines ...pause !
"He was convinced that it was a Jewish professor that had rejected his art work; he became convinced that a Jewish doctor had been responsible for his mother’s death; he cleared the snow-bound paths of beautiful town houses in Vienna where rich people lived and he became convinced that only Jews lived in these homes. By 1910, his mind had become warped and his hatred of the Jews - known as anti-Semitism - had become set."

These lines are really really interesting to take a look at :

"In February 1914, in an attempt to escape his misery, Hitler tried to join the Austrian Army. He failed his medical. Years of poor food and sleeping rough had taken their toll on someone who as a PE student at school had been "excellent " at gymnastics. His medical report stated that he was too weak to actually carry weapons."

    !!!!!!!!

However, maybe as a result of all those experiences ,we can see such results as below!

    See!
    Any comments ?
  • Wow....Couldn't guess so ...I have no comments here ...Haven't ever read about Hitler's bio ...I guess I should learn more about him ...Seems he had a great contrast in his life ...War and its strictness vs painting and its softness !
I really enjoyed the topic ...
    Thanks for sharing ...
I am gonna find some bios about him to see a good analysis of his characteristics ...
I wonder why we always focus on the harsh aspect of one's life esp when it comes to politicians !

    Anyway ...Have a peaceful time
    :)

    My lovely friends,

    And now the answer:

The person who painted these pictures wanted to attend the Viannese academy of Fine arts and become famous as an artist. If he had been accepted by the academy, the world history would have been much different.

    His name is Adolph Hitler.

If you are interested to know more about him and his paintings, you can see this page and look at here too...

I hope you enjoyed this post...

  • My lovely friends, Sweet sandra, Karenina, Zahra and Manuela,

Thanks a lot for your guess but let me not tell anything to you for one more day to see if someone else likes to guess or not. After that, I will give you the answer...I wish you all have a lovely weekend...

    With love,
    Nafis
  • Dear Nafis,

My first thoughts were that you painted these, then i read the comments you have here and i saw that sweet Sandra and Zahra share the same opinion . How funny !
If not you, i have no clue of who could have painted these. To my opinion, there is a similitude between the first one and some of Paul Cezanne's, the fifth one make me think of a Italian baroque painting and the last one reminds me of Renoir.
No matter who painted them, my favorite is the last one. But as you know, to judge about any forms of art is very subjective...

Now, I am curious to know more about these :))

    Have a happy weekend :))

  • My first guess was YOU as "sweet sandra" said ...But, you said to us not to look up in the Internet to find the painter !!! And then you added you'll reveal to us from where you've take these ....Well ,now I sure doubt my first guess!!
My info in the field of fine arts is almost at zero level ...Thus I have no further guess other than the painter must belong to somewhere in the Europe ...The second from the end seems so touching and sounds famous ...sth which sounds like the style in Mona Lisa's portrait painted by Leonardo Da Vinci ...The third painting from the end reminds me of buildings in Italy or so ...Not sure ,though ...Maybe you can find such buildings in London ,too...Besides maybe the painter is not a resident of the place where he (most probable than she !) has been painting!!!
    Who knows ....
Anyway ,I like to know more about art stuff or so ...
Looking forward to seeing the final result of this challenge ...
The paintings are amazing ,anyway ...I like their style ...so soft ! What do we call such styles in pro art ?

Thanks for sharing & have a peaceful time
    :)
