This is one of the great books for those who are keen in strategy designing skills. The original work of SUN TZU of China (foreword by James Clavell, cost  about US $ 6) is very interesting and gives very good insight in designing effective strategies. The design of the book is unique. There are strong statements followed by some examples. Here are some statements from the book. I felt the book very useful for owners of the business or people holding senior positions.

1.  `The supreme act of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting..`

2. `If the general is ignorant of the principle of adaptability, he must not be entrusted with a position of authority`.

3. He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.

Well, there are many more such mind blowing sentences giving a clear learning for leaders. In the developed world today, these strategies can be used for `world peace` initiatives.
