The Rules of Writing a Blog

Hello dear writers

I like writing so much.

But I've never written a blog in EC, I like to have some information about it.

Please let me ask you some questions about writing blogs;

 

1-What are the best subjects for starting a blog?

2-What is the best way to inform others about a blog?

3-Are there some points that we must consider when we are writing a blog? If yes, then what are they?

4-How can we make a blog more popular and useful?

      Thanks Sono! I was inspired by you guys, my friends here in MyEC. I wish God gives me a lot of time to check all of you here. Sono you actually wrote your blogs. Aren't you? Please give me enough time to read all of it. Cheers! : )

      Of course you can't see my blogs because as I've said before I've never written a blog in EC.

      But I hope that it will be soon.

    Hmm, nice topic you has chosen...i feel lake confidence and vocabulary to write impressive blog..i have written three blog yet!

    but all are near to failure .....although I'm hopeful one day I'll do best all stuff including blog.

      I think informing others about our blogs is one of the most important things for having a good and popular blog. Of course it isn't all but it is one the main parts.

    Hi Sahar,

      Thank you for posting a new discussion. I really appreciate it. Great questions though... I'll try to answer your questions as much as I could since I'm also a learner here.

    1. I think, one of the best topics for your first blog is a simple introduction about yourself, your hobbies, or about your family. You could also share about your work, where you from and what can you say about your country. For me, personal experiences are great topics because you have an idea on the event that happened before and what actually you've experienced . Perhaps, the feelings you endured like being comfortable having friends on-line and what you have experienced interacting with them.

    2. When you posted a blog, you can invite others by simply composing a message and send an invitation to your friends to check out your blog. Don't forget to copy the link, it looks like this 

    http://my.englishclub.com/profiles/blogs/the-second-blog

    or share it to our group so that members here can check it out.

    3. There are things that we should consider in writing a blog. Grammar, punctuation and spelling. But it really depends on your level. You can use the tag correction so readers can help you spot your errors. I hope you'll not mind their comments once you uploaded your blog. If they try to correct you, it only means that they want you to learn from those errors and improve your writing.

    4. The popularity of a blog depends on the topic, the blogger and the content. Aren't you popular in MyEC? You already made an impact in other groups right? Junko's Greenfingers is one!

    I think our blogs are useful in many ways. 

    4.1 Everybody has different experiences therefore, what we experienced would be something new to others.

    4.2 Readers who commented to our blogs will also learn from other members' comments.
