minimal pairs /ɑ:/ and /ɜ:/
/ɑ:/ as in “fast”
/ɜ:/ as in “first”
I’ve pronounced the pairs with universally accepted British RP.
(Received Pronunciation)
Thank you!

Hi Gabriel,
Welcome :)))
Studying with you, very fantastic really,
Hi Selma!
Thank you for your warm welcome. Actually, I saw you as a lone visitor when I dropped by earlier..! So, I decided to keep you company while waiting for one or more other club members walk in. ;-)
Meantime, I realized that Tara’s minimal pairs /ɑː/ and /ɜː/ could prove useful if somone pronounces the pairs for others to listen and learn. Thus, I volunteered myself and did enjoy doing it – drawing a distinction between the two phonemes. It was fun..!!
Ok, I’ll be seeing you, Selma!
Regards,

(I hope to this phrasal verb has been a good choice right here)
Thank you for your help,
Have a good day,
