There are several companies selling software to help students learn English. This is one way of studying a language.
There are also:
1. language study tapes or CDs (audio lessons),
2. books (written lessons)
3. and the traditional classroom with a teacher.
4. We should also consider internet based learning like this EnglishClub web site as a learning opportunity.
I want to know if you might buy software like Rosetta Stone to study English on your computer?
Do you think that an interactive computer program would be helpful to you or other students?
Have you ever tried any software?
Do you know friends who use something like this?
I hope to hear what members think and if they can suggest any good software.

There are some good language programs available. Rosetta Stone is interactive software and remembers what you know well and what you need to practice. There are also some good quality audio CDs that can be purchased.
Maybe some members can suggest some that they like. I have tried the Pimsleur Language system for Eastern Arabic and it seems to be very well designed.
If you can instruct an interactive computer program supporting effectively English process, I think it can be commercialized. I would use an English language software for beginner in 2003 and it was helpful I suppose, because I had no time to join an English class at that time.
