After a comparative analysis between Facebook and EC, I came to this conclusion that there are more chances to meet heterogenous people across the world on English Club, whereas liking or disliking of Facebook depends on the type of friends you added. If you have interesting people, knowledge lover having good sense of humour, etc, on FB, it becomes interesting place. On Facebook, we are very careful in adding friends and don't accept request of complete strangers. On the other hand, On English Club, we can communicate members without adding them as friends.
One of the major difference which makes MYEC more awesome site than Facebook and other site is that it is not a dating site yet appreciation of romantic blog doesn't make a good sense :)
Whereas Facebook is being used for this purpose to the great extent. As result the rate of divorce is increasing day by day. Do you agree?
MyEc is good toward learner, as there is more opportunity for learner.. like blogging., discussion, then there is also teachers available for correcting their mistakes, teaching them.. it is good website in more aspect then Facebook. I don't use Facebook but Facebook is good for communication nothing more. I preferred EC.
I find MyEC easy to operate rather than facebook, but the comparison between these is not justified. They have some different field. Socializing here in MyEC links with learning language, but there is no such aspect found in facebook.
This is just my opinion, which can be contradicted.
