Is your education really has something to do with your character? why often people stereotype that if you are educated you are expected to be well-bred, while if you're not, they assumed that you can't possess such good personality, graceful mannerism or ethical way of living.

Why is it very easy to judge someone with what he/she attained in his/her life?

  • Hello Mishaikh, the character has been built with the combination of nurture and nature, do you agree with this? And on my personal perspective, everyone has his/her own battles in life, so we better understand where are they coming from but sometimes I can’t help but to condemn those who are “educated” in a sense of their “papers=diploma meal” but doesn’t possess the attitude of a good citizen.

Remember your blog about “Darkness in Life”, the former “Child Abuse”… you could relate to what I mean..:(

Character builds by how and what training a person has gotten from their craddle. Education comes after or side by side. Good or bad one comes from home, nurishes in educational institutions blooms in the company of good people. Exucation simply broaden the vision of a character. But we are of silly society, like Mary remarked. Being deceived by the appearance is any individual's responsibility.

Why some educated people act and behave like uneducated one?

  • Thanks, Mary, you are so right about prejudices, but how to eliminate that is a big question. Humans, as always, reacting based on what he is seeing and instantly opens one mouth without even thinking.

Just like what Car Jung said, humans don’t like to think, that’s why they judge.

I experienced before, those days that I’m not able to go to college, so instead of crying all day because of the misfortune, I decided to find a job, during the interview… the interviewer told me that I will eventually join the manufacturing force, however, he told me that my written exam was exceptional for a person who doesn’t enter college. He even told me that I got the highest score for that, see?

Those who has their “diplomas” are entitled to office position…haha.. :)

Well, you said it yourself: Stereotypes.
That's why the English idiom "Don't judge a book by its cover".

What we should do is to get rid of prejudices and taking our time to get to know people around us before open our big mouths to judge.

But anyway... we are just silly humans :P
