WHEN PEOPLE HAVE A GOOD POSITION ,THEY ALWAYS BEHAVE BAD,THEY FORGET THEIR FRIENDS AND I DONT KNOW WHY THEY BEHAVE LIKE THAT.I AM CIVILSERVANT AT PRISON LIKE A PRISON OFFICER .OUR MANAGER BEHAVE US LIKE A DOG WHY ? STUFF COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY BEHAVE LIKE THAT .SOMETIMES THEY WANT US TO SHOW A RESPECT TO THEM BUT WE RESPECT THEIR STUATION NOT THEIR PERSONALİTY.OUR EDUCATION IS BEING GETTING BETTER ,ONE DAY WE WILL BE MANAGER AND WE DONT BEHAVE BAD TO PERSON WHOM THEY BEHAVE.

I have a book named HOW TO HAVE CONFIDENCE AND POWER IN DEALING WITH PEOPLE. Here in this book the author **Les Giblin** says that when people behave in a negative way normally is because they lack confidence and by expressing a mean attitude they protect themselves from the fear within them about ¨being put on their place¨ by others.
My point is (using what I said above ) that 99% of people who has some kind of responsibility beyond their aptitudes, capabilities, experience, and previous training, act in a mean way pretending wrongly to gain respect from others because of their huge lack of confidence, trying to hide the fear they feel of making mistakes and therefore feel embarrassed even from the smallest-unimportant thing.
Maybe you would like to get the book I refer above so you can learn very easy tips (psychological laws) on how to deal with any negative personality.

I believe that respect is not something one owns by his/her position, but rather by his/her actions. Your manager shouldn't wait respect from you if he doesn't show you respect.
Some "stupid" people think that a high social position is all what they need to be respected by other, they are wrong. Look at many of our politicians.... it's a good example :))
